PDF files have become so universal that our scanning services and searchable CD service has adapted to this highly versatile document format. PDF is now so widely used throughout many industry sectors that we have invested heavily in plug-in software to enhance and manipulate this file format. Colour scanning creates large megabytes of files and eventually is the cause for bottlenecks in businesses intending to email or just distribute information. A very powerful file compression format is now available which can reduce file sizes by up to 98% for colour and up to 50% more compared with conventional black and white file compression known as Group 4 tif file. The major breakthrough in colour scanning is shrinking the file yet maintaining print quality.
